Privacy at a glance: Password Generator Mate works offline. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information or passwords.

This Privacy Policy explains how Password Generator Mate (the “App”), provided by Lina Badwan LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information when you use the App.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information, usage data, device identifiers, location information, contacts, or any other data from users. The App does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking technologies.

3. Password and Passphrase Processing

Passwords and passphrases are generated directly on your device. Passwords entered into the strength checker are analyzed only in the App's memory, are not saved by the strength checker, and are not sent to us or any third party.

4. Information Stored on Your Device

Depending on the features and settings you use, the App may store the following locally on your device:

• Generated password and passphrase history, when history is enabled;
• Passwords or passphrases that you mark as favorites;
• App preferences, including dark mode, history, and clipboard-clear settings.

This information is stored in the App's local preferences and is not uploaded to our servers. It may not be encrypted separately by the App. Access can depend on your device's security, operating system, backups, and settings.

5. Clipboard

When you choose Copy, the selected password or passphrase is placed on your device clipboard. Other apps or system services may be able to access clipboard contents according to your device's operating-system rules. The App lets you clear the clipboard manually and can automatically clear copied content after a time you select.

6. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, share, or transmit user data. The App does not use third-party advertising, analytics, cloud storage, or account services.

7. Internet Access and Permissions

The App's core features work offline. The current Android version does not request sensitive runtime permissions.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Locally saved history remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App. You can delete individual history or favorite items, clear all history, and disable future history from within the App. Because we do not receive or store your data, there is no server-side data for us to retrieve or delete.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not specifically directed to children, and we knowingly collect no personal information from children or other users.

10. Security

We designed the App to minimize privacy risk by keeping its processing offline. However, no device or storage method is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device. Password-strength results are estimates and do not guarantee security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the App's features or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date above.
